Andre Robinson is the Chief Executive Officer of MissionSquare.
With more than 25 years of leadership experience in financial services and investment management, Andre is a proven strategist and growth driver. He is recognized for building high-performing teams and delivering innovative solutions that elevate customer experience and business performance.
Prior to joining MissionSquare, Andre spent over 13 years at Voya Financial, where he held several senior leadership roles, including President of Voya Financial Advisors, Inc., and Head of Advice and Guidance for Voya’s retirement business. During his tenure, Andre led multiple initiatives that helped modernize the firm’s technology platforms, introduced new product offerings, and spearheaded initiatives to help enable individuals to make more informed savings and investment decisions.
Andre’s passion for expanding financial literacy and his forward-thinking approach continue to help shape MissionSquare's growth strategy and evolution. He is deeply committed to advancing the organization’s mission of helping individuals and families achieve long-term financial security.
Andre earned a master’s degree in finance from the Erivan K. Haub School of Business at Saint Joseph’s University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Arcadia University. He also serves on the board of the Givably Fund at Foundation Source.

Douglas Coté is the Chief Investment Officer for MissionSquare.
In his role, Doug oversees MissionSquare’s investment strategy, leveraging advanced financial technologies and data-driven insights to enhance portfolio performance and deliver exceptional value. Through leading the development of innovative investment strategies to navigate modern financial markets and drive sustainable growth, Doug manages in-house fund managers and directs credit research.
Prior to joining MissionSquare, Doug served as the CEO of Emeric Capital, where he provided consulting services on multi-asset class portfolio construction to financial advisors. Previously, he served as the Chief Market Strategist at Voya Investment Management, where he represented the firm’s market perspectives to financial advisors and media outlets. He created the investment model utilized by Global Perspectives Market Model Funds and managed them from December 2011 to June 2023. Another fund he managed, the Global Perspectives Portfolio Fund, earned a 5-star rating from Morningstar® as of Dec. 31, 2020, for its Overall, 3-year, and 5-year periods. Doug has been a regular presence on Bloomberg TV, CNBC, and Fox Business.

Jeffrey A. Gibson is the Chief Product Strategy Officer at MissionSquare.
In his role, Jeff leads the Corporate Strategy and Competitive Intelligence functions. He also oversees the firm’s Product team, which focuses on developing recordkeeping solutions, investment products, and managed accounts.
Prior to his current role, Jeff served as Vice President of Strategy and Competitive Intelligence at MissionSquare, where he played a pivotal role in defining the company’s strategic direction by developing sales acquisition and retention strategies and serving as the executive sponsor for key consulting relationships. His earlier roles at MissionSquare include Vice President of New Business Services, Director of New Business and Corporate Support Services, and Manager of State Plan Services.
Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Towson University in Maryland, with dual concentrations in Human Resource Management and Strategic Operations Management. Lisa Raff is the Chief Human Resources Officer for MissionSquare.
In her role, Lisa leads MissionSquare’s people strategy with a focus on talent development, culture transformation, and employee engagement.
With deep expertise in organizational leadership and workforce planning, Lisa has a distinguished career in human resources, having held senior positions at several prominent organizations. Most recently, Lisa served as Vice President of Human Resources at Voya Financial, where she played a key role supporting the Workplace Solutions business. Her strategic vision and leadership were instrumental in driving organizational change, business growth, and enhancing overall employee engagement. Previously, Lisa held senior roles at The Hanover Insurance Group and The Hartford Financial Services Group, providing strategic business consulting to multiple lines of business, which led to increased market share and operational efficiencies.
Lisa holds a master’s degree in business administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Connecticut.
Steve Summers
Chief Internal Auditor
Steve Summers is the Chief Internal Auditor for MissionSquare.
In his role, Steve focuses on ensuring MissionSquare complies with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and that the company’s board and management are aware of any material control weaknesses or potential risks. Additionally, he coordinates with external auditors and works closely with the second line of defense internal control and monitoring functions, including Risk Management, Compliance, Information Security, and Legal, to assess the audit and oversight coverage of MissionSquare’s key risks and critical vendors.
Steve has nearly 30 years of experience in financial services and more than 25 years of experience as an auditor. Before joining MissionSquare, Steve worked in various roles at T. Rowe Price, KPMG, and Vanguard, where he managed integrated technology and operational audits of portfolio management, subadviser due diligence, securities lending, compliance, HR, mutual fund accounting, and pricing, as well as the technologies supporting each of these functions.
Steve is a Certified Information Systems Auditor, holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from The Pennsylvania State University, and completed Harvard Business School’s Executive Education Program for Audit Committees in a New Era of Governance.

Andrew Whiting is the Chief Sales Officer for MissionSquare.
In his role, Andrew oversees a comprehensive suite of retirement savings, financial planning, Defined Contribution Investment Only (DCIO), and advisory programs, serving clients across the government, education, healthcare, and nonprofit sectors. Andrew leads all customer-facing sales teams and is responsible for advancing MissionSquare’s legacy of “serving those who serve,” while expanding its mission to help all individuals achieve a secure financial future.
Andrew has over 18 years of experience in the financial services industry, including extensive experience working with public sector and government retirement plans, as well as expertise in 457(b), 403(b), and DCIO markets. Throughout his career, Andrew has worked with plan sponsors, recordkeepers, consultants, and advisors across various market segments and retirement plan sizes.
Andrew serves as a Trustee for the New York State Troopers Police Benevolent Association Signal 30 Fund. He holds honorary lifetime memberships with the New Jersey Police Benevolent Association Local 265 and the Dade County Police Benevolent Association. He has also contributed to industry advancement through his service on the National Association of Government Defined Contribution Administrators’ Industry Committee.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Fairfield University.

With over two decades of dedicated service to MissionSquare, Kathleen possesses a wealth of experience in diverse marketing and client-facing roles. Her expertise and leadership have played a pivotal role in shaping MissionSquare’s marketing landscape. As the Vice President of Client Engagement in Washington, D.C., she leveraged interactive client advisory forums focused on public sector retirement solutions. Additionally, Kathleen oversaw national conferences and sponsorship strategies in alignment with the organization’s mission. During her tenure as the Director of Key Client Relations, Kathleen managed MissionSquare’s largest state retirement plan, overseeing assets exceeding $6.7 billion and more than 480,000 customer accounts. Beyond numerical achievements, her strategies were centered on ensuring the secure retirement of numerous employees.

Tom has been an integral part of the MissionSquare team for over 16 years. He first joined the firm’s legal department in 2008, where he served as Vice President, Securities Counsel. Since joining MissionSquare, Tom has worked on various issues related to broker-dealer, investment adviser, and investment company regulation. His leadership has been instrumental in strengthening MissionSquare’s compliance framework and navigating complex legal matters.
Prior to joining MissionSquare, Tom was a Counsel with O’Melveny & Myers, LLP, where he represented clients in securities-related enforcement proceedings before the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the U.S. Department of Justice, the New York Stock Exchange, and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. He also provided regulatory counseling to his clients regarding compliance with federal securities laws and self-regulatory organization rules. Prior to entering private practice, he served as a Senior Attorney and Branch Chief at the SEC, and he began his legal career as a law clerk to the Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
Tom holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of the Holy Cross and a doctorate of law from The George Washington University Law School. He also served as a submarine officer in the U.S. Navy.
